Lars Mynderup is the new CEO of Palsgaard Spær
Lars Mynderup has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer. He assumed the position on 2 February and will be responsible for continuing the positive development that Palsgaard Spær is already well underway with.
The appointment follows the decision of the company’s former CEO, Tobias Smith, to step down for health reasons. This decision was made after careful consideration and in close dialogue with the board.
“Tobias has been employed at Palsgaard Spær since 1998, and we – like Tobias himself – had hoped that he would be able to return. Unfortunately, his health does not allow him to continue in the role of CEO. We owe Tobias our sincere thanks for his many years of commitment and the significant mark he has left on Palsgaard Spær. At the same time, he leaves behind a financially sound and robust company with strong growth potential,” says Holger C. Hansen, Group CEO of Nordic Wood Industries and one of the owners of Palsgaard Spær.
An experienced leader with a focus on people and organisation
Lars Mynderup now takes on the role. He is 46 years old and holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration (organisation and strategy) from Aalborg University. He has more than 20 years of management experience from both IT and industrial companies and most recently served as Group CEO at Beritech, where he worked purposefully with structure, strategy, and leadership development in a growing owner-managed company.
