Nviro hires new CEO

Carsten Lundh Olesen, 52, will take up his new position as CEO of Nviro on 1 January 2023. He takes over from Jens Engbo Norddal, who retired on 1 December 2022.

The 52-year-old Carsten Lundh Olesen will be responsible for Nviro’s portfolio of insulation solutions for sustainable construction. Carsten Lundh Olesen has been co-owner and operator of ATG Profile ApS and ATG Flooring for the past four years.

Carsten’s previous experience of building up his own construction company, experience from his time as Country Manager at STO facade systems, where the focus has been on building up the market and creating a strong collaboration with craftsmen, which is similar to Nviro’s set-up, as well as structured project sales at Velfac, have all contributed to the appointment, says Holger C. Hansen, Chairman of Nviro. He continues:

– Carsten has many years of experience both as a manager and within the construction industry, and is therefore a strong profile to bring on board the team. He will play a key role in implementing Nviro’s five-year strategic plan for growth. He also shares the Board’s holistic approach to leadership, so we look forward to working with him. We would also like to thank former CEO Jens Engbo Norddal for his cooperation and his great efforts – for example with the merger of Papiruld Danmark and CBI Danmark, which became Nviro in 2020.

Carsten Lundh Olesen, who has been in the construction business for more than 20 years, says:

– I am very excited to start at Nviro and to get to know the company, colleagues and customers. Nviro is a super exciting company with products, values and attitudes where you can really make a difference for the environment. I find that very motivating. And joining such a large timber group with such an exciting and sustainable product portfolio was hard to say no to.

Carsten Lundh Olesen lives in Rønnede, is married and has two children.
